2. Who can participate in YouthRush?

YouthRush is open to students and young adults who desire spiritual growth, personal development, and hands-on ministry experience. Specific age requirements may vary by year.

3. Will the Program provide meals? 

Yes, the program will provide breakfast and lunch. That said, students can also choose to receive meal funds and prepare their own meals during the program if they prefer.

4. How long is the program?

The program runs for 10 weeks during the summer, including training, outreach, and spiritual development activities.

5. Is YouthRush safe and supervised?

Yes. Students are trained and supervised by experienced leaders in a structured environment. Safety, accountability, and mentorship are a priority throughout the program.

6. What does a typical day look like? 

A typical day runs from Sunday through Thursday. We start the morning with personal devotions, followed by chores and breakfast together. After that, we have group morning worship and training before heading out into the field for canvassing. In the evening, we return to base, take showers, wind down, and then it’s lights-out. 

Fridays are more relaxed and are set aside for laundry, shopping, fun group activities, and vesper. On the weekends, we attend various churches in the community, sharing testimonies, leading song services, connecting with church members, and relaxing. 

7. Do students earn money or scholarships?

Yes. Participants support themselves through literature ministry and have opportunities to earn income and scholarship assistance for school.

8. Are meals or housing provided?

Details regarding meals and housing vary by location and year. Specific information will be shared with accepted participants prior to the program start.

9. What kind of training do students receive?

Students receive training in spiritual development, communication, leadership, literature evangelism, and personal discipline from experienced evangelism mentors.

10. Do participants need prior evangelism experience?

No prior experience is required. YouthRush provides training and mentorship to help students grow confidently, regardless of their background.
